About Scouts

Scouts

The Scouts is the largest youth organisation in the UK providing almost half a million 6-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge, and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

This is not done in the form of sewing on badges or knot tying (unless that’s what our members want to do) but instead by camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling, canoeing, and much, much more! All of this is with friends, building teamwork skills, and solving challenges.

1st Melbourne Scout Group

1st Melbourne has been established since the time of the second world war. It was a large group with 3 sections, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Currently we have an active Cubs section and have newly formed a scouts section.
